Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s home trend review!

pin pallates

I know you’ve seen them all over pinterest and the blogs, but palletes are still going strong in 2016!  I’ve made a Pinterest board for you again and you can find it here.

Now let’s see some pretty pictures, shall we?

This link leads to a great article from Apartment Therapy on 25 DIY projects for small bedrooms so it’s a bonus!  This just so happens to be a pallate headboard so it’s in our scope today ;)  How beautiful is this?!?  I’d love to have this over my bed any day!

I found this for sale on etsy.  What a great DIY this would be tho!  I’m loving this little seahorse fella to the moon!!  You could take this idea and cut out any sort of shape tho, animals, states, hearts, etc.  This would be a super fun project to try!

Now you’re seeing a gorgeous pallet wall.  This just so happens to be in my grand son’s nursery!!  My daughter went through the entire process of breaking the pallets down to putting them on the wall.  There are several steps between and the next photos will show you that. :)

This is a GREAT article by A Piece of Rainbow, All About Pallets.  She takes you through, step by step, from finding pallets to having usable wood.  Everything you need to know, all in one place!!

Here’s a fun article on 40 Pallet Crafts to try! I bet you can find something you like there.  They range from free-standing pallet walls to a pallet garbage bin.  Such a great resource if you want to try your hand at a pallet project!

If that last article didn’t have a project you’re interested in, this one surely will !!  Check out 110 DIY Pallet Ideas That Are Easy.  If you’re itching to get your hands dirty on a project you’ll surely find one here!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s installment on pallets.  If you do a project and need ideas for paint finishes, check out my Pinterest board on Painting.  It will give you tons of inspiration!

Have a wonderful weekend my friends!

I’m in my mid 40’s, mom to one grown daughter, Katelyn, and a grandson, Dawson. He is the light of my life!! I am with the man of my dreams and he spoils me, as well as helping along with the furniture when I need help moving things in and out. My other hobbies include photography, scrap booking, reading and of course, decorating my home! My days find me in the office, painting furniture, decorating my home and when I’m lucky, shopping!
I hope you’ll follow along with me on this journey called home.
