Yeah I’d say it’s been a while, months to be exact. Things got a bit overwhelming IRL and I had to focus on that. My Dad is still going through treatment for his lung cancer, my daughter graduated high school & moved out (sniff sniff), my diabetes got way crazy and I was put on insulin … let’s see, that’s a good bit of it! Needless to say, things got a little hairy but it’s all under control now.
There are several new things going on at Plain Digital Wrapper I want to tell you about! We have a brand spankin’ new challenge section that’s been reworked and about to explode with excitement. Some of the challenges have started and there are more to come. My “Find your Muse” challenge will start November first. Come over here and check it out!
We also have the great Header Hunt going on. Our great store owner, Betsy, takes our new releases and redesigns the store header every few days. You guess which products are used and can win a gift certificate. This weeks $5 gc’s come from mine or Tammy Moore’s store! Get over there and enter!
I owe a huge thank you to my friend TammyKat. She did this whole blog redesign and I’d never have gotten it done without her. TY girl! I’ve also redesigned my previews, as you will see shortly. I’m very glad to be back among my friends and designing again! I’ve gotten several new items up at Plain Digital Wrapper and I’ll show you just a few. It’s funny because the girls had to poke me with a big stick when they voted to do a Halloween theme for the collab this month. I don’t *do* Halloween, it’s just never been my thing. So I got my things done and guess what?! I made some more LOL Here they are: Spellbinder Paper Pack and Swirls with Flair
I think those swirls are pretty cool myself and I had a blast on the papers! If you notice you get the blank papers too with the ones with the Halloween graphics so you can use them anytime!
My newest kit is called Touch of Spice and I totally love this one. It’s been very popular so far! *happy dance*
I feel like I’m writing helter skelter for this first post but there are so many things I want to share with you and I can’t do it all at once! lol My parents got a new kitten brought to them about 6 weeks ago. My uncle found her on the side of the road all alone and immediately thought of my Mom. She was in bad shape when they got her but now she’s happy, healthy and a total wild child! Her name is Muffin and she’s very entertaining. There will be many Muffin stories to come! Now, please meet my new sister Muffy lol
I took that photo when I was babysitting her one day while my folks were at the hospital. I had it put on a mug for my Dad (he’s totally in love with her) and he went nuts when he got it! I was quite impressed with the quality of the photo and mug. All in all, they did a much better job than I expected. I had it done at Walgreens, btw, I’d recommend it and will be getting another one done!
Now for the promised freebie! Yaaaaaaay! You guys know I’m not a cutesy kinda person, well I just couldn’t resist the little owl craze lol I’ve had a thing for owls my entire life so I just had to make one!
