Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy lots of turkey! We definitely did, especially the blessed part. Let me tell you why…..
As you may know, my Dad has lung cancer, and has been in and out of the hospital for the last 9 months. He went through a bad patch early last week but then was able to come home the Thursday before Thanksgiving. Yay Dad!
Jack and I were down there visiting with him and Mom last Friday night. My daughter Katie and her 2 best friends came by on their way to see Twilight. You guys know this was a big deal! They were so excited it was finally out! They left the house about 6:15 pm and not 5 minutes later my cell phone rings. It’s not Katie’s # but it’s one of her friends. It was Katie on the other end, crying, totally freaked out, saying someone hit her head on and her car is on fire! I asked where she was (I mean she just left the house!) and she says just down the road, so Jack and I run out to the car and haul ass. Let me say this… had I seen the car before I saw the girls I would have completely lost my mind! Let me show you why…
See what I mean?!?! All the EMT’s and cops on the scene could not believe the girls got out of this car without a scratch on them. It was a true miracle! We had a few bumps, lots of bruises and a few sprained fingers and wrists.. that’s ALL! Let me tell you, you never know what could happen so don’t take anything for granted! It took me a few days of walking around in a haze to comprehend what could have been. It was so scary I can’t even begin to tell you guys.
Needless to say my designing and blogging schedule got knocked for a loop! lol But I threw myself into work, so much so, that my creative team has told me to SLOW DOWN lol They can’t keep up! So let me show you what’s new this week …

Bless you and your family! Yes, your daughter and friends were definitely fortunate to get out of that one. I shudder just thinking about it. I’m a mom, too. LOL
