Are you ready for some sparkle?! That’s a rhetorical question, by the way, we’re ALWAYS ready for new bling, aren’t we? lol These flowers have been a labor of love for me for the last 2 weeks! I started with generic white flowers from my local discount store, then proceeded to paint, ink and glitter them to bits! Of course, each step had to dry a day or so between applications so it was exciting to see them each day, watch what they were becoming and marvel at all that sparkle! I went through 3 large bottles of glitter too! I always have to do things big you know. Without further rambling, here are my lush little babies!!
Aren’t they divine? Of course, I had to add something a little unusual and unexpected, hence the tree branch! I adore how these look, photographed at different angles so they can be hanging or sitting on whatever you’d like! Just imagine the possibilities with these beauties!
I’m going to tell you a secret too.. shhhh… I’m bouncing ideas around about how I’d like to sell the actual flowers! Would you like to own some of my handmade treasures? Imagine a goody box arriving at your door, unwrapping lush papers to find these lovelies inside! Wouldn’t that make your day?! There’s nothing I love more than getting gorgeous mail that contains a piece of someone’s heart and soul. What a treasure! My tech girl is going to read this and think “what are we doing”?!?! hehe I’ll let you know when we get it all sorted.
In other news, my daughter, Katie, has gotten her first “real” job. 40 hours per week, benefits, the works! Woohoooo!! I’m so excited and proud for her! She’s attending college full time also so she will be one busy girl but she is determined so I’m betting that all will go well and she will do great! Congratulations Kate!
